Introduction to Robotics: Algorithms for Classifying, Reasoning and Decision Taking (2008)
In this course, you will learn how to program a robot to move around in a plain space. You will instruct it to avoid obstacles autonomously, to build a map of its environment for better orientation, and to find the best way from the current position to a target location. You will implement the robot’s behaviours that allow it to interact with users (by speech and control keys using your mobile phone).
Participants of the course will build two groups. Each group will instruct a Robertino to move to the target as quickly as possible and – in parallel – escape the other Robertino who is trying to catch your robo.
