ABSTRACT:
In this presentation, I will give a brief overview about the functionality of the ROSE public transport information system. I will demonstrate the client implemented in Java ME, the software architecture of the server, and the services it provides (not just to ROSE clients). I will also give an overview of current research at the AI group in Erlangen around ROSE with particular emphasis on multi-modal input and output and AI algorithms for situation and user adaptive interaction and assistance strategies.
