Speech and Multimodal Application Engineer (CLOSED)

The Signal and Interactive Systems lab (see sisl.disi.unitn.it for more information) Lab at University of Trento pursues excellence research and teaching in next-generation interfaces for human-machine and human-human communication. The SIS lab has a state-of-the-art speech and language technology infrastructure and collaborations with premiere international research centers and industry research labs.

The Junior Speech Engineer will be developing prototypes for speech and multimodal applications and supporting experimentations with conversational systems. He/She will developing software supporting the multilingual conversational platform of the SISL platform.

Requirements: The ideal candidate we are looking for has laurea/master/bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science, minimum two-year work experience, strong programming skills and be team-work oriented. Experience in XML, VXML, CCXML, XPATH, PHP, SQL and web programming is preferred.
